Noah’s Ark Christmas Celebration 2011

Christmas is the time of sharing and giving. To mark this special festival Noah’s Ark holds a celebration every year for its employees, artisans and relatives. As a token of appreciation for their commitment and hard work Noah’s Ark gives gifts to its employees and holds a luncheon for their families, artisans and our relatives. We also hold a secret Santa between our employees and upper management to increase teamwork, improve open communication and flatten hierarchy. This year on the 25th of December, a special celebration of Christmas was held at our premises. The celebration started at 2pm, with our pastor Rev. Brijesh Mansell started this with a prayer, welcoming our employees, artisans, relatives and speaking a little about why Christmas is celebrated and what it means. This was followed by a little speech by Mr. Samuel Masih explaining why Noah’s Ark does this every year and the meaning of Christmas for our staff.  The presenting of gifts (this year we presented room heaters and iron depending upon job responsibilities) to our staff was initiated and many people appreciated our staff with a round of applause. After the presenting of gifts, lunch was served (Non-Vegetarian and Vegetarian) and approximately 300 people were present in total to take part in this celebration with us.  To mark the end of this celebration secret Santa was organized where staff had the opportunity to exchange gifts amongst themselves and enjoy this special day as a team.
